RNs, now more than ever, need to be prepared to work to the top of their skill and licensure in primary care.  The content of this course addresses pap smear screening, breast exams, family planning and overall annual visit content. You will learn to discuss preventative care and to counsel on ways your client can improve her health. Having RNs as a member of the interprofessional team enhance access to and quality of care for our clients. RNs doing well-women visits decreases the burden of care on providers, and promotes workplace satisfaction in a highly-functioning primary care team.
