RED 502 | Advanced Consideration of Reportable Events in Human Subject Research - TBA Session
Self-paced
Full course description
THIS LISTING IS THE TBA SESSION OF THIS CLASS. To be notified when a session of this class is scheduled, or if you cannot attend the already scheduled course, please enroll in this class.
Class Description: In this class we will learn to provide complete and accurate information in the Report Form application for complex Unanticipated Problems.
This training will take place in three parts:
1) Participants will review resources from the IRB website and federal guidelines for reporting and then review the presentation for how to apply these concepts. A short quiz will be required following the readings and presentation.
2) The class will meet synchronously to discuss case studies.
3) Participants will fill out a "dummy" report form application for practice. The message board will be used so participants can get tips and tricks from others; participants will be required to post their report and then comment on one other participant's report. This report will then be submitted.
Participants will need to pass the quiz from the information in the brief video presentation and readings. You will receive participation credit for filling out the practice report form and providing feedback to others on theirs. Feedback will be provided in Canvas, complete with teacher comments (as needed).
