Contemporary research impact tools allow authors to measure more than simple publication counts when assessing the effect and value of their research throughout the field. This presentation will describe how researchers can look beyond immediate metrics to identify the full impact of their work. Participants will learn what scholarship dissemination options exist for researchers, including both traditional and alternative venues, and how social media can provide additional exposure of their work and enhance their professional reputations. Discussion will include where and what research results, data and publications should be disseminated and how to measure their full value and impact.
