The “Acute Care Nursing Among Diverse and Vulnerable Populations” Badge Course Series explores current trends and challenges experienced by minoritized groups and the effects these disparities have on health, families, and communities. Emphasis revolves around understanding Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) towards disparate healthcare and strategies that improve outcomes through allyship, cultural awareness, and advocacy. Upon completion, the learner will have increased knowledge and individualized toolkits to address health equity in vulnerable populations.
